The white space functionality is designed to ensure none of your document content is covered by the automatic white border that Docmail applies during the mailing process (this is where the barcode is applied).
The functionality means that when choosing 'shrink to fit' any content appearing in the white space area will be automatically moved to ensure that content is not covered.
If this cannot be applied, ‘content shrinking’ will occur. This maintains the original proportions of your document but aligns them within Docmail borders.
In addition to this, if content falls within the address area, your mailing will automatically be upgraded to a non-windowed envelope.
This is only applicable for mailings under 15 pages.
This will not apply when you have selected window envelopes.
We recommend checking proofs of your mailings in all circumstances to ensure the content is formatted correctly.
