What Is Economy Access?
Economy Access postage is an alternative to the standard Docmail DSA mail option, with the main differences between the two being the postal delivery window, and overall cost per letter.
Our standard delivery service is two-day delivery. With economy standard delivery, the delivery occurs when the address has other post, so mailings often arrive with in two days, but delivery can take up to 5 days.
The table below indicates the normal delivery day for standard and standard economy delivery:
Economy Access mailings will save you 4p on your each letter when compared to standard delivery, though with a slightly wider delivery window.
How do I select Economy Access for my mailings?
The Economy Access option is enabled at account level by signing into your Docmail account, entering admin, and selecting account details. At the bottom of the screen you will see the “Economy delivery service” section. This will either show as economy delivery service in use or not in use.
